IRS

We received some exciting news from the Internal Revenue Service today!

Upon review of our application for tax exempt status the Internal Revenue Status has informed AoGF that it is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code!!!

Contributions are now deductible under section 170 of the Code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under specific sections of the Code.

Acts of Grace Foundation is classified as a public charity under 170(b)(1)(A)(vi).

A big THANK YOU to Manda Dinkel, Martha Baldwin and Lonnie Somers for assisting with their time and talent on the application.

Wanna Volunteer?!?!

Acts of Grace is always looking for volunteers! Whatever time you are able to give, we gladly accept! If you are available once a year, once a quarter, once a month, once a week, once a day…Get it?!?!? We take whatever help our volunteers are able to give! Our volunteers NEVER are alone, you will ALWAYS have another AoGF Volunteer to assist you! Did we also mention free breakfast, lunch or dinner?

Anyone wishing to volunteer time at Craft Night, BINGO Night or Sundae Sundays are required to attend ONE orientation at P/SL. At the orientation volunteers will receive a parking pass, id badge, tb/mumps testing, information on hospital policy regarding direct patient contact, dress code, hospital drills, codes, etc. The orientation is quite informative and will protect the hospital, the patients and the AoGF volunteers.

Below are the dates for P/SL Volunteer Orientation. You RSVP before attending the orientation.:

May 13
May 27
June 10
June 24
*all times are 6:30pm-8pm in the Volunteer Office @P/SL*

Limited on time, but want to help?

AoGF has recently extended services to other Denver area hospitals. This has been made possible with the help of volunteers and supporters. Both are much appreciated!

Everyone can be great because anyone can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't even have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve... You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love...
